Ingredients

3 Ripe Bananas
100g Butter - melted
100 - 120g Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1tsp Vanilla
180g Flour
1tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
2-4 tbsp Milk
100g Chocolate Chips
½ tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

1.Heat oven to 175°C conventional / 160°C fan. Grease or line a loaf tin.
2.Mash the bananas in a big bowl. Don't worry about making them perfectly smooth—little chunks are good.
3.Add melted butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix with a fork/whisk until reasonably combined.
4.Add flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Fold together just until you no longer see dry flour.
5.Add 2 tbsp milk. If the batter seems extremely thick, add another 1–2 tbsp. It should be thick and spoonable, not liquid.
6.Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour into the tin and sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top because obviously.
7.Bake 50–60 minutes, until golden and a knife/skewer inserted in the centre comes out with a few moist crumbs but no wet batter.
8.Let it sit 10–15 minutes in the tin, then remove.
